Event Details

Develop a realistic view of the interview process and calm your concerns.  Understand the types of interviews you may face and learn how to use your marketing toolkit to answer virtually any question.  Develop strategies to address liabilities, get your own questions answered, and learn how to close the sale!  Other helpful hints, including managing the offer, will be shared so that you will be prepared to advance from job search to job acceptance.

While walk-ins are welcome, registering in advance helps us plan for hospitality volunteers, resume reviewers, printed materials, and coffee and bagels too - thank you!

 

DONATIONS/FEES: MEMBERSHIP in SJN is FREE.  We function on volunteer service and donations.  We do not charge meeting fees, including for this curriculum series.  A donation of $5 per event is suggested.

 

A Companion Workbook has been developed and supports all four modules of the curriculum, contains worksheets and homework.  It will be available for purchase for $15 cash or check at the meeting. 

Having the work book is important. To have a productive job search you need a comprehensive plan. There are a series of exercises to help you develop your personalized strategy and tactics inside the workbook. While times are tight, I urge you to make an investment in yourself and purchase the workbook. It will help immensely on the next three modules.  At $15, it merely allows SJN to absorb the cost of materials.
